Dominika Akuszewska

Dominika Akuszewska has an MA in Applied Psychology from Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland.

She has previously worked as a Dramatherapist and Community Resource Project Coordinator for “Przestrzeń” (a service dedicated to the Polish Community) which she co-founded within the national charity organisation Mind in Oxford. Nowadays she leads theatre workshops as a freelancer for different organisations in Poland, UK, France and India.

She graduated with distinction from the Chelsea College of Art and Design, University of the Arts London and she now works in the film industry, as a set/production designer. She has worked on many productions including music videos, shorts and is now working on a full feature film.
Dominika also works for film festivals in London – as a festival producer for Play Poland Film Festival which she has brought to Oxford and London (http://playpoland.org.uk/) and as a programmer for Raindance Film Festival (http://www.raindance.org). She transformed her hobby and passion for film into a dream job.
